Today our U12 girls showcased remarkable resilience and teamwork in challenging weather conditions. Despite the cold and persistent rain, they displayed immense confidence and skill during their matches.

In the first game, the girls faced off against their opponents with energy and determination. They executed their plays efficiently, demonstrating great passing and communication on the field. Their hard work paid off, leading to a well-deserved victory. It was uplifting to see how they maintained their composure, even in slippery conditions. This win has surely set a positive tone for the season ahead.

However, the second match against Petersfield proved to be more challenging. This strong team tested our girls' limits. The wet and cold weather had started to take its toll, affecting energy levels and focus. Nevertheless, our players dug deep and showed grit throughout the game. They continued to give their best effort and executed several key strategies, even against a formidable opponent.

Overall, I am incredibly proud of the team for their performance on this tough day. The effort and spirit they displayed, despite adverse conditions, are commendable. As we move forward, we will focus on building stamina and strategies to handle such weather better.

Thank you to all the parents and supporters who braved the elements to cheer the girls on. It means a lot to the players and contributes positively to the atmosphere of our games.

Looking forward to our next practice, where we can refine our skills further!
