Nigel has created a book club fund raising scheme for next season. Read below for the details...

Lorraine and I are both avid readers and have collected hundreds of books over the last few years. I was in the process of clearing out and donating them to charity when I thought we as a club could make some money out of a book club. 

HOW WILL IT WORK? 

I have kicked the collection off with a few hundred books covering a whole range of topics. These will be displayed in the club from September. You can borrow a book for as long as you like for £1 per book or if you buy a brick that will give you access to as many books as you like up to October 2008. 

This will be on an honesty basis with money going behind the bar. Brick tickets will also be kept behind the bar so simply fill out a slip and pay your dosh! 

For this project to really work it would be great if others who have books collecting dust could also donate them. If you would like to donate more books you can either just add them to the shelves or email me @ headcoach@farehamhockey.co.uk
